Water Solutions
Recycled? Rainwater? Desalination?...
The Edmund Rice Centre invites you to join us for a discussion on water solutions and afternoon tea following. Some food (and water?) for thought:
All water is recycled through animals, people, aquifers and oceans....
The community not government should lead the change. Chair, Vic. Water Trust, 27/11/06 Herald Sun.
Sydney residents saved on average of 80 billion litres water a year since restrictions began in Oct 2003. Desalination aims to provide only 45 billion litres a year at much higher cost.
Sydney -siders use 342 l. of water daily. (Dec. 2006 Sydney Water statistics)
Don’t forget: Tuesday 27 March 2007 1.30 pm At The Edmund Rice Centre 1st Floor 9 Alexandra Ave (cnr. Monash) Croydon NSW
